Catherine LeGrand
Catherine LeGrand has been
inspiring students and audiences for over 25 years. Her career is
centered on the quest for more efficient and expressive performance
and on sharing her discoveries with students and colleagues.
Currently living in North Carolina, she serves as Adjunct Professor
of Flute at Campbell University.
An active soloist, recording artist, and chamber musician, she
cultivates a worldwide private flute studio comprised of beginners
as well as professionals through her travels as visiting pedagogue
and clinician, and through the LeGrand Virtual Studio. |

With pianist Kenneth Grigg, Ms. LeGrand
tours as the duo Senza Misura. The name, Senza Misura,
means “without measure,” representing the high level of musical
expression and freedom they enjoy in their ensemble.
Their
performances have been described as “buoyant,” “scintillating” and
“transcendent.”
Catherine LeGrand and Kenneth Grigg have
been performing together since 1991.
